Karol Boudreaux talks about her 6-year research program, in which she has investigated enterprise-based solutions to poverty in Africa. The projects that individual entrepreneurs have began are opening new horizons for many Africans facing poverty. Boudreaux discusses that by implementing policy changes, providing incentives and removing barriers, Africa is beginning to experience a sustainable economic rate. The consequences of this growth rate are significant, and are leading to the formation of a middle class, diversification, and an increase in foreign capital, consequently lowering conflicts in the country.
